Two of the best golf courses I've ever played. The views of Lake Michigan on the Straits and the Scottish longhorn sheep roaming the Irish make you feel like you're in the UK. The Cassie's make the experience complete. I recommend Peat Moss. He is...More

Annual Golf Group trip went to Kohler this year, played the Straits Course the second day. WOW. We were lucky with a perfectly flat Lake Michigan, and not a cloud in the sky; I cannot imagine anyone had better conditions than we did that day....More

Beautiful but very tough course along Lake Michigan. Started my twilight round at 3:45 PM to save a couple of bucks and no caddie. Well forget twilight, paid over $300.00 and didn't finish the round. Last 6 holes everything backed up even with "rangers" there,...More

I battled about every shot from start to finish--the most challenging course I've ever played. You're tired physically and mentally after a round here. It's a bit slow play (even factoring in the difficulty factor) and a bit claustrophobic as they are almost entirely booked...More

I am a huge fan of the beauty of links golf courses. Whistling Straits is a majestic, beautiful sight. It is hard to believe the terrain of this course was man made. It is a joy to play, giving you opportunities to hit shots you...More

We travel with friends and have played courses here and in Scotland. Although quiet challenging, it is the most beautiful we have ever played (including Brandon Dunes, The Old Course, Kings Barns, castle Stuart, etc.)

Great golf course, views a plenty, a pretty decent walk with your caddy, but worth every penny. Lots of pot bunkers, and lots of golf on Lake Michigan. The clubhouse is nice, breakfast a must do, and enjoy a top 50 course, anywhere in the...More

We played the Irish and Straits courses at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin. Obviously the Straits course, host to PGA championships, the next USA Ryder Cup, etc is the best known, and deservedly so. It is beautiful and difficult and borders Lake Michigan all the...More

The Straits course is a solid course.Heads right out to the lake on the front nine.Course was in decent shape but certainly not pristine.Though course is good it doesn't compare strongly to other courses in this price range-well behind Pebble,Bandon,Ocean Course in Kiawah.Irish course wouldn't...More

As previously mentioned, the people there are very helpful. I used a package deal the first time I went as it met my desire to play all four courses on property. If you are only wanting to play the two courses mentioned... More
