My husband and I went here for the first time and it will be our last. The person working was VERY RUDE. We sat down at a table for 10 minutes before even being acknowledged. Then where asked if we needed something? Really! She prances over and ask us what we need then points to the menu in the middle... More

We stopped in Kenosha for the afternoon. The brewery has a small facade in the (revitalized) downtown area of Kenosha. The small brewing facility is upfront and there are tables and chairs stretching to the back. The place was busy. We enjoyed a flight of all their beers for $13 (good value) and the order of the flight was explained... More

You pass the brewery before reaching the bar. Yes, the whole brewery. Rustic Road brews in small batches around 100 litres if I calculated correctly. The bar is crowded with locals during happy hour, always a good sign you're not falling into a tourist trap. And Rustic Road is anything but. They have their beers on tap, I recommend getting... Stopped in for a beer after the museum before we went to dinner. Small place with a corner setup for brewing. Sean O'McMurphy stout was so so, but the Hazelnut Harvest was amazing, reminded me of cream soda. Staff was friendly. Would stop by again to try more brews!

Just looking for stuff to do waiting for our plane, we stumbled upon this small brewery. Great craft beer and even better customer service!

I have a fondness for people who follow their dreams. This is one of those places. Greg York loves beer and loved to home brew. Now he owns his own brewery! I stopped by Rustic Road with my brothers and a couple of friends. We had a great time! Greg and Michelle were great hosts. We enjoyed several different beers... More

We had a small group on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered three flights of six beers. There wasn't a "loser" in the lot. The IPA's were our favorites, but there was something about the Hazelnut Harvest that made us think this would be a great beer for breakfast: pancakes, sausage and Hazelnut Harvest. The Maibock was also quite good. The bartenders... More

I had the Motueka IPA, SOuthport Wheat, and (my favorite) the hazelnut harvest, it had a great natural nutty character. They were brewing when I visited and the place smelled fantastic. Their hours are a little limited but it is a small operation.

Stopped in by chance and couldn't have been happier that we did. Our bartender, Sarah, was fabulous -knew the brews, the area, and was totally honest with us- the brews were some of, if not the best, we've ever had. Small place, relatively basic decor, but who cares? We sampled a number of their brews that were all very good,... More
