I have been bringing my Granddaughter to Wilderness Walk from the time she was about 18 months old. She is 9 now, and every year when she spends a week with me, I ask her what she wants to do on our Monday outing. She gives me a look, like, well DUH, Grandma..... Wilderness Walk of course!! LOL It is... More

They are only open from early May through Labor day, so we didn't get to go this year, but have gone previous years and the kids love it. The favorite part are the baby deer that aren't penned and you can feed and pet them. Got to pet a descented skunk and rabbits. Lots of fun animals, and fish to... More

Absolutely loved this place! Had fun seeing all the babies especially the fawns. I am still in awe that I was able to pet such a beautiful, timid creature that even liked my hand. At 4 weeks old it was so precious! Hubby loved the speed of the tortoise! Great family or couples place to visit.

We visited just before Labor Day week-end and once again enjoyed our afternoon visit at the walk. The grounds were a little rough from the summer visits of many and the recent rains but we were able to navigate without any issues. A nice place to visit while on vacation.

In my opinion the price to get in is a bit much, I understand they have a lot of animals they need to take care of. But for my husband and I and our 3 kids it was $60! The kids did enjoy it and we spent about 2 hours there. If it wasn't such a hot day I'm sure... More

We were in the area and decided to go see the animals. The biggest problem for us was trying to push a wheel chair through the park, we ended pulling the chair backwards most of the time because there is no real path that is wheel chair friendly. When we complained about it we were told that there have never... More

I'm not 100% sure what this business does? I don't know if they take in wildlife that needs care, or what so it's hard for me to judge them when I don't really know. Deer run free in the park. Petting zoo is great for the kids. A baby goat had hurt his front leg jumping around that morning, according... More

I am sure in its day it was a nice place but we found it depressing. The admission for two adults and one infant was $29. Perhaps this fee can help out the animals. It was a 90 degree day and I would not suggest going there on a hot day. Most of the animals looked dead. I questioned if... More
