Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There is one covered picnic table and 2 other picnic tables, one of which is under the shade of a large tree. There is also an information board and a long drop toilet. It is a pleasant place for a picnic and leg stretch on the reasonably flat 45min track.

It is worth the 10km diversion from the highway to visit this national park.
It is a sealed road out to the park with the car park area located adjacent to the road. There are amenities here and facilities suited to having a picnic.
Take the interesting short walking trail through the park and enjoy the unique flora and landscapes.
A good spot for a break whilst travelling with a bit of exercise thrown in as well.

This is a small national park at Morven, 1 hour from Charleville, 2 hours from Roma.
The only thing to do is a 2km flat walk amongst the varying scrub. Not a great walk in itself, but easy. and a good break during a long drive. Picnic tables and toilet at the car park.

The drive from Brisbane to Longreach is long and lacks places to pull over and stretch your legs Tregole National Park is 10km of main Highway. It has an easy 2km circuit walk, well marked out, with different vegetation sign posted There are toilets, bbq and shaded picnic tables, as well as a nice picnic table along the walk with a pleasant view over the valley
