Good Time

Our visit was for a concert. It is a smaller quaint venue. It was run smoothly, it is very clean. Worth visiting if you are in the Green Lake area

nice small venue in small town with big city talent. Cozy setting cocktails available, should give it a try if you are in the area and they have something going on. Reasonable price, good time!

I ordered tickets for the Corky Siegel’s Chamber Blues concert performance at the Thrasher on May 28. We’ve been to the Thrasher a number of times since we moved to Oshkosh in 2005. We find the venue real neat; an intimate setting where everyone mingles- including some of the musical performers- before the concert. They added a bar area a... More

Saw "James Hunter Six" was going to be playing at the Thrasher Opera House and decided to get tickets. We were not disappointed! What a great venue! Small enough that every seat is a good one. A definite community vibe and a great place for a concert.

Seeing Pert Near Sandstone, a wonderful bluegrass band, at Thrasher Opera House was the highlight of our family trip to Green Lake! The venue is lovely and comfortable and staff and patrons were very friendly. We got there early enough to get front-row seats, which our kids (ages 10 and 13) loved. There is a concession stand serving drinks with... More

I had looked it up on line before hand. Traveled 6 hours to hear Willy Porter. I was impressed with the venue. The acoustics are great. A volunteer at the opera house was good at giving us a tour of where everything was located and eager to help us get settled in and feeling comfortable. So glad to see these... More

Four of us attended a concert by Tom Chapin and were most impressed by the facility, the renovated interior, the sound quality, and best of all the concert itself. Tom entertained us for nearly 2-1/2 hours with wonderful work in guitar, banjo, and auto harp - of course he can sing too. He even played one of his older brother... More

This place was a hidden gem, perfect for a small concert with an amazing band (The Ballroom Thieves). Check them out, check this place out. The staff were wonderful and helpful as I tried to find my way to good eats before the show.

In a Trip Advisor survey, I responded that I only write about exceptional experiences. Our first visit to the Thrasher was exceptional. The theater has been refurbished beautifully, the acoustics are great, the seats are comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful. Their schedule consists of appealing, unique acts. Saturday, we enjoyed a jazz duo, Tuck and Patti, and look... More

This is just a beautifully restored venue, that was first opened in 1910 as a performance venue. Lovingly restored in the 90's, it is clearly loved by the residents who are very proud of it. We saw Livingston Taylor and he even commented on the beauty of the theater. There is a bar/ lounge area for gathering pre-show/intermission. You will... More
