If you are thinking at all about booking this, do it. Matt is a superb amateur historian who loves Door County and knows what he is talking about. (I'm a professional historian, so I can be pretty critical). I always hesitate to book boat tours with my husband and younger son since they both get seasick easily, but Matt's boat... More

Captain Matt = not your normal everyday boring tour guide. Ha ha, that sums it up nicely. We met Matt at the dock and got an early start with another nice couple. We had 2 adults and 2 children aged 7. We choose to have the kids wear life jackets, though they were not required. The four of us sat... More

What a great way to spend a couple hours. We did the Lakeside Tour with Captain Matt and had a really fun time - saw shipwrecks, lighthouses, a bald eagle and more. The boat zipped along the water accompanied by appropriate classic rock tunes. We didn't need life jackets though they are available if you want. Matt is friendly and... More

Excellent. Well choreographed to locations with music. Matt has an in depth knowledge of the area and the waters that surround the gorgeous area that is Fish Creek. A must do. Job well done Matt. When we booked, we were not expecting so much of the adventure! It was great! But if you don't want to get wet or can't hold on, this isn't for you. Matt was great and told us so much information. He was also wonderful with watching the weather. He knew that waves would be too large out on the lakeside,... More

We chose adventure rafting as opposed to a slow tour to see Door County. It was well worth it. Kids enjoyed it. My daughter-4 and son -7- both wore life jackets and held onto us, but enjoyed it. The way back we sat in the front and it was a little too bumpy for my son, so we switched to... More

When they say "adventure," they're not kidding! Prepare to get wet as Captain Matt takes his guests zipping across the water at 25 miles an hour! Matt shares load of history and local lore and mixes it with a thrill ride.
