My son and I went for thee out of the darkness suicide prevention walk. Was a nice gathering. The playground had made an upgrade to new equipment. He had a blast on the stuff. Decent sized park.

They renovated the park this year and the new playground equipment is so interesting and fun that parents can be found playing alongside their kids on the jungle gyms. Big trees, lots of picnic spots, access to the bike trails, and the well-attended ball fields...More

Attended the Walk Out of Darkness event. The park is very well cared for. Bathrooms are clean. Very large play structure available for children. Nice walking paths with other activities available. This would be a great spot for a break to a busy day.

The ball park is historical. You can take in a baseball game in a quaint stadium or a football game with great seating. If you like local history, Paul Bunyon Park is excellent.

The playground equipment was recently replaced and they turned it into a really incredible park. There are play pieces for all ages and even some that are handicap accessible.

This public park--no entry fee--is outstanding and just updated. I actually visited it in November, when it was still undergoing an overhaul, and it's really outstanding now. There are all kinds of fun pieces of play equipment--zipline, slides, musical toys, a merry-go-round that is actually...More

Steps away from the bikepath near the Mayo Clinic is Carson Park. There's a small lake full of bass and panfish. There's a mini-beach. There are many places to post up a picnic and swat mosquitos while luring close the local wildlife.

We visited this park two years ago and thought it was loads of fun; however, the new equipment added makes this park more fun than ever.
