This is the place to go to see wonderful community Christmas Lights. The rest of the year Irvine park is a great place for picnics, playing, walking and seeing the animals. This is a special place that we always bring visitors to see.

I wish we had something like this by our home! The park is so peaceful, lots of nice walking trails and the zoo is a nice plus. Animals look healthy and cared for.

The old cave that was used to store soda and beer is located on the old bear den road. It has always been available to enter. That park road is sometimes only available for walkers or bikers during the day. It is a short... More

The closing time is 8:00 pm. It is posted around the park and there are gates in strategic places where they close the park. I was there today and the new Welcome Center was not open yet. Saying mid-June. But the... More

Yes the park is open and you can have dogs as long as they are on a leash and you clean up after them. They don't allow them in the animal buildings as it may upset the animals.
