Riding a tractor pulled wagon is the most fun to be had..This lighthouse is so beautiful and is kept in good repair. The grounds were pretty, and the scenery is beautiful, no matter where you look.

Thank you for your review. It is very interesting managing a lighthouse on an island. There are always natural factors to take into consideration. Weather, high water, bugs - they all keep us guessing :)

Thank you for your great review. Many of the lighthouse keeper's loved their job but did not care for the remoteness of the island or the sometimes treacherous weather.

The water was about a foot deep on the causeway, the wind was unreal, the little tractor and wagon did get us safely to the lighthouse and back. The free wagon ride and parking are nice, the $7 they charge to walk around outside the...More

Thank you for your review. The views are spectacular. The changing leaves this time of the year are gorgeous from atop the lighthouse!

After a beautiful drive to the lighthouse we were transported to the entry via tractor--hay wagon style due to ankle high water separating the parking lot from the island. The lighthouse was very stately and in good shape. The historical information and photos in the...More
