So happy we stumbled upon this treasure. The boardwalk trails were so accommodating to all ages and abilities. There were maps to guide us. The lighthouses were fun, but the best treat was the Albert Fuller Center. They had so much on display, a great...More

Small but well done visitor center and a beautiful boardwalk trail thru the forest leading to the light houses still used in Baileys Harbor. Interesting geological area. Worth your time/energy/$5 (per family).

Took a tour of the TWO lighthouses - yep that's what they have is two of them. If you take the tour you will find out why. Very cool to check out the old items inside the house and to listen about the history.

This place is awesome anytime of the year. The nature center building is new, beautiful and informative. The trails are also diverse in beauty: ridges, wooded, beach, they are great. They have knowledgeable staff and a good nature gift shop.

The trails at The Ridges Sanctuary are wonderful! Easy enough for the whole family to do, but no dogs or bikes allowed. The beginning portion is nicely done and beautiful board walks. Nice and wide, clean, almost looks brand new. This is especially nice for...More

See what the lake shoreline looked like thousands of years in the past as the glacier melted. You start 10 thousand years ago and travel to about one thousand years ago. All of the Great Lakes were once under ice thousands of feet thick. The...More
