Start with an 11,000 acre playground serving up the best of the mountains, however you like it. Your days here are like having dessert first. Our Village is situated atop the mountain and gives you access to spa-ing, shopping and even dancing. It all feels better at 4,848 feet.

Went on spring break a few years ago with my family, the location and living accommodations were very good. A little pricey, but still worth the money because of how easy it was to get to the mountain (literally on it) and restaurants around it....More

Very boring, nothing to do unless you want to ride a mountain bike around the resort grounds and run down the visitors. Most stores are closed during the summer. Not worth the car ride through 60 miles of curvy roads.

Never get a room reservation at Snowshoe Mtn thru Snowshoe directly. They can change your reservation to any other room they like. So if you pay for a view of the mountain they can change it to a view of the parking lot even though...More

We arrived to Logger's Run on a rainy and what seemed like deserted mountain during a week when most local kids went back to school. It's somewhat 1/2 way between Tennessee and Maryland for our family week and it was our first time visiting a...More

Loved Snowshoe and the journey there as the countryside we drove thru was beautiful. Great family ski resort on a smaller scale...it has been a long time since we were there but my friends still go and like it a lot.

Not much has really changed over the years. Fox Fire Grill is the place to go eat and the resort (being at the top of the mountain) offers a nice respite from the repressive heat elsewhere. However, I must say two issues continue to dog...More

We spent 2 nights at Snowshoe in Soaring Eagle condo located at top of mountain. Wonderful condo and amazing views. Enjoyed the shops in the village as well as the restaurants. Soaring Eagle has underground parking which was so convenient. Several years ago we spent...More

We attended the raffle put on by the Snowshoe Foundation. It was pure chaos. We had not attended before so we had no idea how the process worked. The representative that checked us in told us nothing about what our tickets included. Food booths were...More
