The Appalachian Mountains are the oldest in the world. Seneca Rocks does not exhibit the grandeur of the Rockies or the Himalayas, but the realization that that the mountains were pushed up by the Continent of Africa is awe-inspiring is its own unique way.

An amazing view to see in person. The hike is uphill so be prepared for that. The visitor center is very nice & dog friendly.
