History and battlefields have always fascinated me. This was an unknown battlefield to me so it was very interesting reading the history. It serves as the grave sites of those lost in battle and of Chief Cornstalk who's history is also very interesting. There is...More

We walked from the Mothman statue down the flood walls to the park, walked around the park and then went down by the river. It is mostly clean. Nice to walk around and you get a nice breeze since it is right where the Ohio...More

A good place to find out about the fascinating history of point pleasant. Also nice to sit in the swing chairs and contemplate the rivers.

Unfortunately we visited while the park is not open - doesn't open until May. But nicely kept and markers with educational information

Enjoyed a brief walk around the park. Would be decent site for a picnic. The museum was closed, the monuments related to the pre-revolutionary battle and few historic markers were helpful, but not super descriptive of the site history. The views of the river are...More

We visited while in Point Pleasant to see the Mothman Museum. It was a nice little side attraction that held some fascinating history. The view is beautiful. At the corner of the park, you can see where the two rivers meet.

Hi! It's pretty much just a beautiful plot of land on the river(s) so I would think you can go anytime. It doesn't have a gate or admission area. Hope that helps!
