Love it here. You learn so much and the guides are very knowledgeable. They lead you through the palace and tell you about what they do here. There are still people living on the property and you can observe their prayer ceremonies and learn about the religion. Its very peaceful and there are a few things to see on the... More

Definitely worth the visit! If you're looking for a spiritual experience - this is most certainly the place to go. The scenic view left me in awe while traveling to and from this destination. Great place to experience and discover the krsna religion.

We stopped here after seeing this on atlasobscura. Enjoyed seeing it and learning about the history. Talked to the head grounds fellow whom was really nice and gave us some information. The Palace of Gold was closed but we walked around. It's a little run down but I think they are working on it. Definately worth the side trip.

We were close by for a dr appointment and decided to go. I e seen it advertised before and never had the time. Get good directions and a map, you will lose phone service. Try to understand where you're going before you go, It is country roads of WV, curvy, mountain roads. I also suggest coming from wheeling to RT... More

To say this palace is gorgeous is an understatement! The history and construction is impeccable! Award winning rose garden in the spring and summer. Temple, meditation garden, lotus ponds are also on site.

My husband was keen to visited based on the pictures because he believed that he would be able to make great pictures too. the palace does look a bit run down however & so you do not look too closely. My husband is a very outgoing person so when a member accosted him he was ready to talk a while... More

Driving from Cincinnati to Gettysburg, we saw a tourist sign for Palace of Gold as we were driving in WV. We thought... why not? It was quite a drive from the highway, maybe 20 to 30 minutes on some windy roads. As we arrived, we realized it was a Hare Krishna temple. The temple was a bit run down, but... More

Quite place in the middle of nowhere. New Vrindaban is good place for lord Krishna followers. Palace of gold tour was very short but worth taking. Beautiful scenery. You can see beautiful Peacocks .
