We would have loved to be able to drive down to the Visitors Center and see the gardens and other foliage. Unfortunately, on Sunday morning around noon, the gate was closed and it only allowed access to the Garden via a path. We are Senior...More

My wife and I went here to check out the beauty. Wow, we were impressed. Educational and beautiful, we truly appreciated what so many volunteers had done to create this tremendous walking space. The trails are nice and there are educational kiosks throughout. Truly a...More

This place is not very well advertised but it does have chevroned trails surrounding an old reservoir. There is not much signage and no evidence of other nature there. We did like the wetlands boardwalk.

This volunteer run park has pretty surroundings with paths. These trails are easily walkable.. Flowers, plants, and lots of different mushrooms are there for one to peruse. It is really worth a look if in Morgantown, and especially if you are a nature lover!

This is a delightful natural area that is continually growing. The gardens are lovely and each year, it is fun to see what has been added. If you walk around the path to the right, you will end up at the hammocks! Breathe in the...More

Other reviews got it mostly right. This is a very young botanical garden in many respects. They've got the land and already have very nice trails (well-marked) both around the wetland but also back more in the woods towards the stream. Lots of pesky bugs,...More

Went thinking there would be gardens. There was one small bunch of plants and some by the welcome center. Asked person walking a dog where the gardens were and she said there is a 2.7 mile loop for that. Walked it all and about all...More

Yes, I have seen them there. I believe they have a leash mandate and a pet waste policy. It doesn't seem to be on their website. If you have additional questions contact Erin Smaldone (Education Director) at 304-216-8704.
