Great place for information

This was our first stop in Marlinton. We were able to get some great information about different locations to visit while we were in town.

For riding the Highland Scenic Highway you can stop in and get your special pin. The visitor center was right around the corner from the The Old Clark Inn where I was staying.

Sure, it's just a visitors center - but the folks there are very friendly and helpful. If you're in the area and need a little guidance, stop on in.

Stopped because couldn't quite decide what to do with our young children. So we stopped and she pointed us to some great short walks with the kids. Very friendly and helpful. Never really stopped at a visitors center for help before.

What is there to say? They have a lot of information available but it is your typical visitor center.

Stopped in on a Sunday and YES they were open ( Memorial Day weekend)! Gail was working and was so helpful!! Everything we wanted to see was closed, of course, but she sent us on a beautiful drive and to Elkins to for a couple days until we could come back when things were open. Thank You!!

We stopped in just as they were opening one morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also got some brochures that we had not been able to find else where.
