Nice place to stop - especially on a rainy day
Sep. 2021 • Friends
This is a great place to stop for some special snacks and a delicious meal. There is a nice variety of shops and while some of the shopkeepers didn’t really engage we still enjoyed their wares. Not too crowded and a variety of restaurants to choose from.

Great place with some of our favorite restaurants and shops, we go weekly.

Surprised by some of the comments from out of town visitors.

We are a small town and our Public Market is fantastic, location couldn't be better - if you ask someone that doesn't know where it is expect bad directions.

Mid week not as much is happening - weekends is when the local vendors fill the space and parking lot with all kinds of stuff to look at.

Lastly negative comments about how many vendors are open during 2020 is kind of pathetic.

Cute little public market
Sep. 2020
This place was kind of hard to find, but once we did we were excited to go in. It's big, but seemed like it could have had more that what was in there. But definitely worth the stop on our way to Leavenworth and glad to get the gellato and the little shop (sorry I can't remember the name!) the pistachio was to die for! Definitely has potential to be better, but we liked the cute shops that aren't your average everyday shop, and we also enjoyed the park outside that was on the water!

Not a good first impression.
Oct. 2020
First of all we had trouble finding the market . The front desk at our hotel wasn't sure of the location and our server at dinner the night before said the same thing.
I don't know how long it has been opened but the directions from our front desk said drive down to the end of Wenatchee Ave and "it's right there". Well, it isn't. WE went almost of of town before we realized we should have seen the big sign over the building but we couldn't because the market is 2-3 blocks below Wenatchee Ave. After we turned around to go back towards town, I looked over and saw the Pybus sign lit up. We parked but we weren't sure it was open. We walked in only to find even at 9:10 in the morning there were only 2 places open; both were restaurants.
There appears to be a later opening for the other stores or maybe because of the virus, some of them weren't opening on the week days ? Judging from some closed shop windows, there was some different and interesting inventory there but they weren't opened.

I'm hoping it succeeds and we will give it another visit but for a first time impression, it wasn't a positive one.

Hidden Gem in Wenatchee
Jul. 2020 • Family
A nice place to get a sample of what Wenatchee has to offer. There is a gift shop, meat market, fruit stand and plenty of restaurants. We did not eat there but each restaurant looked to be very good.

Not A Morning Market
Jun. 2020 • Couples
This looked like it could be a great market but, when we arrived at 8:15am on a Tuesday nothing, only one shop, was open which was so disappointing. The market is right on the river and there is plenty of parking. If you are going to go I would recommend mid day or later.

Best First Date
Feb. 2020 • Couples
This cute little place was very relaxing and had plenty of places to eat and have a drink from the local breweries. The service was good and didn’t feel over crowded. It is obviously a daily visit for locals and I loved that it was a great first date location. No pressure!

Something for everyone
Dec. 2019 • Family
Like Pike Place without the crowds, and curated so that there’s just one place per category. The meat market is especially wonderful. Each place is good for what it offers. Everyone is so friendly!

Good choices for eating in or out
Dec. 2019 • Business
I’ve eaten at several of the restaurants here on my business trips to Wenatchee and window shopped the meat, produce, cheese and wine markets in this open and inviting market building by the river. Plenty of choices and a nice diversion.
