This is a beautiful state park in an industrial area within the town of Wenatchee. It borders on the Wenatchee river. Nice sites, lots of green grass which is regularly irrigated. The only complaint I have is the old style sewer connections. They are 90 degrees to the grade (an elbow is installed at ground level) which make connecting an... More

The park was great! It cost $10 to get in and worth the cost if you can spend most of the day there. It was fun watching kids play and boats flying by while we enjoyed the sunshine. Wish the 'beach' area had sand instead of all the rocks.

It is hard to find campgrounds in the Wenatchee/Leavenworth area that aren't overrun with RV's. But this quite large park that is hidden away behind an industrial park has an overflow camping area that was just great for tent camping. There is a great trail along the river and a very nice, sandy bottom swimming area.

11.3 mile loop. Beautiful! West side of the river parks. East side native brush and grass. Stay to the right of the trail ALWAYS. Be careful, wear helmets. Ducks, seagulls, osprey, kingfishers, mergansers, red wing black birds, bald eagles, crows, marmots, beaver, deer. Mulberries, blackberries in season. Cross two bridges via trail. One over the Columbia, one over the Wenatchee.... More

Place is amazing period. Pack repellents, swimming gears, bikes, those hiking boots and lots of "will-have-fun despite bugs/ mosquitos" attitude and you will. Cause we were 6 families and each one of us enjoyed this beautiful park. Few tips: 1. Book early, we booked in January for a camp site spot for July 4th weekend. 2. It gets hot in... More

This place had thousands of "love bugs" must be mating season but they were on us and our trailer, everywhere. I also got mosquito bites in the evening. It is near the river but because of trees and bushes we could not see the river or even hear it. However we could hear trains on the other side of the... More

Wife and I had a nice walk on the trail after a great dinner down-town. The parks along the walk were busy, there was a lot of other walkers, bikers, joggers, skaters - but there always was plenty of room. There was a security guard patrolling on a bike - saw him a couple of times - but I have... More
