Very busy campground, even midweek in October it was full! Despite the business, the park operator is only sporadically available to assist with check in. I’m not sure why the sprinklers were set to go at 10 am in the morning but it made it...More

Lots of room between spaces and staff is very friendly. Only stayed one night but enjoyed our time in the park. Lots of grass and a nice walking trail by the river. Would definitely stay here again.

The state park has great campsites and is well kept up. There are lots of picnic areas for large or small groups. What we enjoyed most was the Horan Wildlife Sanctuary adjacent that had a great trail over a bridge and along the river with...More

Really nice to have a state park with camping right in the city. Tent sites are $20 and RV sites are $25. You can get a quiet night's sleep right along the Columbia River. The adjacent Horan Natural Area is great birding.

I have a pass so I haven't used any automated pay station. There was a pilot program for a free pass for Chelan County residents or one can pay the $30 for the annual pass as mentioned above.

No. We have been going there for years and years and have never seen rabbits nor guinea pigs. Many birds to watch, though, including Ospreys.
