A beautiful sunny day showed off the many colors of glass on the bridge. And the giant glass 'candy' gates were impressive.

The bridge is very pretty, but takes a very short time to walk. Not worth making a special trip, but if you're in the neighborhood or if you went to the glass museum, it is worth the time to take a look.

We stopped to see this while walking from the Washington State History Museum to the Tacoma Art Museum. This is attractive and worth stopping to see.

The bridge itself isn't made of glass. It is a typical pedestrian bridge but one that has glass art installed on it.

Hi Maggie, yes there is ample parking space nearby. But we simply parked our RV at the curb on Dock street. But there are parking lots along Dock Street as well.

The bridge is always open. It’s an open walkway and bridge between the Washington State Historical Museum and the Glass Museum.
