This is a public park with a lake to walk around, a kids play area and a interpretive center with a reading area for kids, tutles and snakes in tanks and a gift shop. Part of the Tacoma Parks system but deserves special mention.

Nature center aimed at young children. Cute attraction. Nice little playground. Trailers are a good walk, even on a rainy day.

But no thanks. The Tacoma Nature Center is awesome for a nice walk with the family, but dogs are not

PLayground for outside play. Small museum suited for young children. Those over the age of ten are going to get bored quickly.

Nice short flat loop walk. Especially good for 3-8 yr olds -- but nice for everyone. Look for turtles!
