Last week,we found this place to attend a film we wanted to see. It was already sold out so we bought tickets and returned yesterday to see the film. We loved the film. We loved the Theater. It is a non profit 4-plex offering independent and foreign films. We found the seating comfortable and the leg room a bit short.... More

Lots of member perks but still a good place if your just visiting Tacoma or South Sound. Fresh popcorn just made, and now serves beer or wine as well. And after the film go next door for coffee and dessert.

Thanks very much for visiting or theater, Onekrout! We just added member happy hour as a perk from 5 PM to 7 PM each Friday. Beer and wine service is currently only featured for weekend evening screenings, but we hope to expand service hours when demand allows. Thanks again for supporting our nonprofit cinema. - Darcy More

My 23-year-son wanted to me to see "La La Land" (his 3rd time and my first) and the only theatre showing it in our area was The Grand Cinema, which has been converted into a small multiplex cinema. Never been there before but it was easy to find. The first thing that was off-putting was the parking. Only 2 hour... More

The staff were all very attentive and no nonsense. The theaters are intimate scale, food value was reasonable in comparison to larger theaters, and you can even order a beer or wine to take in while you watch a movie!

What a treat to sit in an intimate, family-sized viewing room watching first rate international films available 365 days of the year, multiple offerings from which to select with several different viewing times. Well worth the drive from Olympia.

Though appearing to be a storefront from the street, this is a well-equipped, multi-screen cinema. Repertoire is art and indie films, as well as first run larger productions. Staff was very helpful, and free off-street parking is available (street parking in the area is limited to 90 minutes). Digital projection and sound quality were excellent. Well-stocked snack bar, including beer... More

We just returned from a great showing of this Beatles documentary by Ron Howard. What a fantastic 2 hours spent going back in time to the group's touring days. This movie house had a sound system to do the Fab Four proud. The theater is old time small with comfortable seats with retracting arm rests. The sound system captured the... More

This is a really well-supported classic theatre that has been maintained and operated by a small group of dedicated locals. A fun place for a movie night.

Oh my, such a nice little theater for independent films, classics films & a few mainstream flix. The staff/volunteers are too cool with their love for films & movies, the ticket price is reasonable, the popcorn is really good but parking can be a hinderance. I like it and will be sure to visit again soon.
