Contrary to the name of this attraction in TripAdvisor, this trail is indeed open. The trail offers a quick loop above Stehekin Landing with some decent views and the opportunity for some relative solitude in the forest. The trail starts beyond the visitor center, climbing...More

Sadly this was a bummer! Mother Nature took over and washed out the trail. We went a ways, but had to turn back and return to base. No loop. Once they get it cleared we will try again. No fault here, but nature.....

The Imas Creek Trail is plesant to walk. It affordes a look at the lake and mountains. I like the bench about half way through the trail, a good place to set and enjoy the view. I hope the Park Service repairs the bridge crossing...More

A fun, easy walk behind the Stehekin landing, fairly good views of the lake. We had free time one afternoon and took this trail. Nice trail, nothing particularly outstanding.

If you're only coming to Stehekin for a day trip (don't go with that temptation! stay longer!), this is a good 45-minute hike for people in decent shape. It is a bit of a climb, though, so if you're not a great hiker, plan on...More

The Imus Creek Trail loop is a quick, easy hike (less than a mile). It is mostly in shade, but it did get very hot the farther from the lake we climbed. There is a bench at the top of the trail that would be...More

Perfectly adequate and pleasant 3/4 mile walk in woods in back of the Stehekin Landing area on a side of the ridge in back of the creek. A nice 15 minutes. Its a good walk with kids or grandparents as it is not hard.

A park ranger suggested the Imus Creek Trail as a possibility for our layover at Stehekin. The trail starts with a climb that we were able to do in about 10 minutes. The trail continues past an overlook, with a breathtaking view of the lake...More
