We rode the big red bus up to the Falls, it was eye opening to see the places the full time residents lived in! The Falls were quite lovely and, of course, the sounds and smells only added to the experience. 2 thumbs up!

We heard that in June, the falls are at its best. The Red Bus takes passengers from the dock to the falls for $10 each. The tour is 50 min. total, but we stopped at the falls for only 15 mins. There are two views...More

You can rent bikes, hike there if you are energetic, or take a shuttle bus. (the schedule is in the general store)

Nice falls, but pretty average for mountain falls. Easy to get to and easy walk with one level a little higher.

The Stehekin Valley shuttle bus will drop you off and pick you up at Rainbow Falls. If you only want to check out the falls, the trail is short with an option for steps or a longer path. The falls themselves are beautiful, even in...More

If your traveling the road in Stehekin, don't forget to check out Rainbow Falls. It's just minutes from the road and makes a nice stopping point. There is a tremendous picnic table right by the viewing area if your looking for a place to stop...More

Rent a bike and visit the places off the 5 mile paved road that leads to the park. The fall make for a good stop. Allocate 25 minutes. Near the orchard. Stop at the bakery for something delicious.

We took the 50-minute tour to Rainbow Falls. Transportation was provided by the National Park Service's "Red Bus". Our driver, Debi, provided a narrative overview of the main sites of Stehekin, including the local bakery & "old" school. I would advise taking the second tour...More

Decided to ride bikes here from the North Cascades Lodge, it isn't an easy ride but it is only about 2 miles out. If it is a hot day, stay on the mist trail near the waterfall and you will have a little water on...More

The red bus will take you there right from the ferry landing, and does a 50 min history tour. We just walked the 2 easy flat miles ourselves, so I can't comment on that. Spectacular falls, and worth going to the upper viewing area!! But...More

I believe it's $5.00 one way, but we were there off-season, it might go up to $7.00 during the summer season.
