Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Historic theater was an excellent setting for the performance we attended. We had seats in the upper back and the sound was excellent. We had no problems finding parking downtown either. I'd recommend going downtown early, walking around and having dinner in one of restaurants.

I've been in "The Bing" several times but recently attended an author presentation. I love old buildings, theaters, etc. and this is one of those cool old theaters. It's not an overly large venue so it makes for a nice setting. The only drawback I would see is that the seats are a bit small. I'm not very tall but I could see that if you were the seats might feel a bit cramped. The theater is very close (2 blocks) to the STA city bus plaza so you can take the bus. However, be aware that on weekends the buses stop running for the night, between 9pm and 10 pm, so check your bus schedule. Since you're downtown there are a lot of restaurants near by and you're not very far from the downtown mall.

All seats are great-especially orchestra. There to see John Hiatt-perfect! Great friendly Spokane audience. Can take drinks to your seat-all very fun!

This theater is small and cute, with a stellar location downtown. Love the fact that there is an uncrowded bar, and you can take drinks to your seat (very rare!). Would have given it 4-5 stars, except there was ZERO leg room in our seats. I am 5'7" and there was nowhere to put my legs. I had a bruise on my knee the next day from my legs hitting the chair in front. My husband was only able to sit in his seat with his legs in the aisle. No way you could get out without making the entire aisle leave their seats. Made the whole experience unenjoyable. Truly disappointing.

We saw Graham Nash here. Glad we bought VIP tickets, which provided lower balcony first-row seats. Seating is a little cramped. The theatre, which was the old Fox Movie Theatre, has been fully restored and is now a performing arts theatre. Very pretty, ornate interior, sound system was excellent. Box office for will-call tickets opened right on time. Small snack bar in lobby and a bar on the third floor. Lines at both the men's and women's restrooms during intermission.

This theater is absolutely stunning inside. It has ornate paintings and trims throughout the inside of the theater. I was seating 4 rows from the front, but there really aren't any bad seats on the ground floor. I did not go up in the balcony so I'm not sure what the seating is like up there. The seats are a classic style so they get uncomfortable if you are sitting in them all day long (we were here for a full-day conference). It would be a great venue to watch any type of show. I would highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

I have been visiting here since it was the Met, always a refreshing pleasure. I guess even before that I saw a few Movies when it was the State Theater, but it wasn't quite the same then.Comfortable seating and every seat has a good view for what always seems to be an up-close and personal performance. Plenty of parking nearby to the South a block or so and now there is a small Wine Bar upstairs for a pre show sip, or take it to your seat with you. Clean Restrooms, pleasant Staff and quiet surroundings. Stage is small, which is fitting for the Solo Performances I have seen, Tommy Emanuel, David Lanz, and others. (sadly Andy McKee was a no show but we had fun with the opener Christopher so it was still a good experience. I also enjoy not having to walk a quarter of a mile from the front door to my seat, as often seems to happen at the Coliseum. Prices are reasonable for the quality of Performers I have seen.

I was surprised at the small size of the theatre. The lower level does not have slopped floors so while the stage is a decent way off the ground, you can still have a hard time seeing anything under 3 - 4 feet from the stage.
The balcony does have slopped seating, pretty steep. I think the first two rows of the balcony would be a good place to sit as well as anywhere in the bottom level.
We saw a 4 person group and the smaller size made it feel almost like a night club. A nice theatre. They do have 2 bars. The one upstairs has hard liquor but you can't take drinks made with hard liquor out of the bar area. Beer and other drinks were allowed into the theatre. There was good leg room on the lower level but the seats themselves are a little narrow.

The Bing Crosby Theater is a marvellous place to attend a performance.
The small size allows a great view of the stage, and the performers are all so close and real.
The seats are comfortable, and clean.

We joined the Friends of the Bing and now go monthly to great events. Musical, simulcast plays, Theater 101 movie review and showings. We saw the 2001 Space Odyssey showing, wow the director got the future right, flat screen computers, etc...
Where else could you get exposure to classics like that....only at the Bing!

If you can get front row center or as far back as 10 rows center, you will love it, but really, even off to the sides this is a great place to see a concert. No bad seats and don't forget to visit the upstairs bar area.

I believe almost right across the street is the Ale House, which serves good food.
