This is definitely not your normal theatre. Very intimate viewing rooms. It felt like a mom and pop operation. Truly one of Spokane's highlights

I like to go to the magic lantern when the normal theaters are not showing specific shows. It's nice to support a local theater.

This was our 1st visit to the new location and it was nice to see that folks could bring in adult beverages from the adjoining Saranac. All ages attended and popcorn in big stainless bowls was the de jour for many kids & adults. Seating...More

My husband and I have visited many times and like the price of admission, snacks and the interesting movies. Very eclectic and not your modern theater!

Small theater that shows the movies you won't find in the multi-plexes. The seats don't flip out and back, but the popcorn is better. Check it out!

We loved this experience. Sometimes it can be hard for my spouse to hear the dialogue in a theater. This intimate space was perfect. There are only about 30 seats and they have wine and popcorn etc.

I've visited the Magic Lantern theater many times over the years starting when the only way to get into it was to climb the wooden stairways up and around. I was convinced that an earthquake had hit Spokane when I was watching "Chariots of Fire."...More
