Hangman Valley Golf Course is an 18-hole par 72 championship public municipal golf course located in Spokane, Washington. The golf course is a challenging and enjoyable test for golfers of all skill levels. Opened for play in 1969, the Spokane County course features four sets of tees from which you can choose to play. Red tees will make the course play just over 5000 yards while the gold tees measure just under 5700 yards. The majority of players will play the white tees at 6430 yards while the championship tees will play to 6865 yards or further. The course features well bunkered greens and meandering Latah Creek which comes into play on 7 holes. With wide fairways, you can launch your tee shots which makes the course fun to play. A well-marked course, mostly what you see is what you'll get for your golf shots. With a balance of 4 par 3's and 4 par 5's, you should be able to use every club in your bag for an enjoyable round of golf.

You can’t beat this golf course for the diversity and challenge. Long somewhat forgiving holes and is kept in great condition.

We love this course, but have since decided never to play in September, anytime earlier would be fine. They aerate the greens, without advising you, and charge full price. There is no way to putt properly on sand filled holes on the greens. Not impressed.

Great track, amazed that it's a public course...a few blind holes (which I hate), but a few stunning elevated tee boxes, w/great views, (which I love). We were the second tee time of the day and anticipated a fast round. For some reason they held...More

We couldn't believe that this was a municipal course. It was in excellent condition and beautiful surroundings. The cost was so reasonable. The six of us will make this a course to play each time we are in the area.

I lived in the area for 20 + years, all of the houses to the west were built after 1990 and later after fire storm. I am not a golfer although my brother and I used to canoe down the creek in the summer and...More

The course was green, plush and challenging...but wide open! Perfect for Father and Son Day. We were out town, and had to rent clubs. Unfortunately, both bags were shy a few clubs. But we both are left handed. Its a must play!

I have played here for many years and enjoy it every time. The course is in incredible shape this year and the green are top notch. This is the best public course in Spokane.

Hangman Golf course is beautiful, long, and worth the walk. Some fairways are long but wide which doesn't punish the weekend hacker. Foursomes are sent off in timely fashion so you don't have one, two or three groups bunching up waiting to tee off at...More

This course has plenty of challenging holes. The fairways and greens were well maintained when I went. Price is just right. They also have a driving range where you hit out into a lake.
