It is so amazing to see up close the gardens and blossoms of Manito. Over 40 acres dedicated to gardening. The even have a green house full of tropical plants. It's hard to believe that you are in snow country!

This gigantic park is a walkers dream. Lots of wonderful, winding trails through gorgeous scenery, gardens, trees and swooping lawns. There is a narrow road to drive through as well. Spring and autumn are the times to visit, The most beautiful place in all of...More

Enjoy, the summer evening concerts and to eat at The Park Bench. Like to walk through the flower gardens, when in bloom. Attended group picnics at the park, even before moving to Spokane.

Established in 1904 it doesn’t show its age. We visited both the Japanese Garden and the Rose Garden. Both are lovely. It is hard to imagine the work and care that must go into the maintenance here. The Japanese Garden especially I found to be...More

There are not a lot of places in Spokane that are more beautiful than here. They have breath-taking greenhouses that provide much needed warmth and greenery in the winter months. Highly recommended!

Great park for botanicals. Rose garden is magnificent along with the perennials. Wait until July for the annuals which look like a European setting.

The Rose Garden, the Perennials Garden, the Japanese Garden and all of the walking trails are just lovely. Some areas require a bit of exertion because of some elevation changes, but still worth the effort. (I'm just bummed that I'm not in shape anymore.) Bring...More

Manitoba Park is my favorite place to go for a walk in every season. In the spring there are little ducklings swimming behind their mamas in the mirror pond, and many varieties of lilacs to stroll past, sniffing their heavenly fragrance. Summer is a great...More

Manito Park is 90 acres of relaxation even though there is a lot of walking. The rose garden with 1500 bushes is a delight. I was disappointed in the Japanese garden but loved the rest of the park

If you haven't been here yet- All of the previous answers are accurate. I would add that bicycles are not allowed into the main gardens. By the time you unload your bikes, get off them and lock them up to go into the gardens... More
