Manito Park is one of the many Gems in Spokane. The lilac garden, Japanese garden, rose garden, arboretum, other gardens, open spaces, family park, ... all are excellent, beautiful, well-maintained, spaces. Our favorites - rose garden and Duncan gardens. Always beautiful and inspiring.

I've visited this garden many times. It is amazingly kept with wonderful variety. There is never a time or season that this isn't a special place. Even through the changes in season, the colors, shapes and aromas offer beauty and tranquility.

This lovely city park was a surprise! We toured the quiet Japanese garden, meant for reflection and meditation, and Duncan garden which was still mostly in bloom. The conservatory was closed for pesticide spraying. The Duncan garden was beautifully manicured and the color combinations stunning.

We often take guests here when going to/from the Spokane Airport and it is always a hit. It has expansive park facilities, easy, mostly shaded trails and many varieties of flowers. If you're short on time, I especially recommend Duncan gardens and the Japanese garden.

This was a great place to spend the afternoon with my girlfriend. Between the Japanese gardens, rose garden, greenhouse & flower garden we had alot of places to wonder & enjoy for no cost.

If you haven't been here yet- All of the previous answers are accurate. I would add that bicycles are not allowed into the main gardens. By the time you unload your bikes, get off them and lock them up to go into the gardens... More
