We have been here is the winter and spring as it is close to the doctor I travel to see. It is a nice place to walk and see the scenery. Trees laced with snow in the winter, frozen water edges and ducks/geese swimming. Spring...More

The park has lots of little gardens, like the rose garden, lilac garden, etc. It also has a duck pond, several play structures for little ones. It has benches conveniently located and overall it is very nicely laid out.

The Japanese garden is very beautiful and I'm sure that once the surrounding trees change colors it will be very picturesque.

We like to visit Manito often for various events. In the warmer months, hosting BBQ and volleyball events with plenty of room and in the cooler months the Japanese garden is very calming and beautiful! A must visit location in Spokane!

This is the coolest park I have ever been to. I could spend an entire day walking it. Multiple gardens and beautiful trails.

All of the suggestions above are great, but please don't feed the ducks! Also there is no Chinese Garden; only a Japanese Garden. Enjoy!
