The river is swollen and high on the banks, late in winter. A local told me it was close to flooding recently? From the bridge in Skykomish you can walk down onto the rivers edge. We found a lot of agates and interesting rocks there....More

A February day without rain and the snow gone. Quaint little town. Walkway along the river with nice views of the river. Fun place to walk with the dog to stretch my legs when headed over the pass.

This river is great for advanced Kayaking and River Rafting. Swift and can be dangerous at high water.
