An other part of our day trip included the walk across this old rail trestle and through the woods. It was fascinating to be able to see the changes in the river over time and explore the flowers in bloom. The visitor center is also nice.

They have bird trips every Wednesday out of the center, and they are very informative and fun! Not to mention a lovely walk over the Dungeness River.

The best part of the center is the Railroad Bridge which goes across the Dungeness River. Great place for a walk or run and dog friendly.

The Audobon center is full of interesting display of native flora and fauna. It's Docents are well versed on the local ecosystem . The center is set just off the Olympic Discovery Trail near the Old Railroad Bridge Park...A beautiful place to stroll a section of the trail or have a picnic lunch or dinner.

We took lots of photos on the Railroad Bridge. The visitor center was closed when we got there. But our kids still got to learn the history of the bridge

The Center is located adjacent to the Railroad Bridge Park. The volunteer staff is very friendly and helpful. Because of its location it never seems to be particularly busy. These folks are a great information resource for birding in the area. Lots of parking available at the Center or nearby...

Even though it was had to find off the beaten path in Sequim, I was fortunate to visit this place on the morning of my birthday and had fun from start to finish. The trails, the native designs on the paving stones, the railroad tracks the gently moving Dungeness River were all spectacular. A lot of joggers were here as... More

This is located near the Dungeness River Bridge and is a delightful educational center. There is a $2 admission fee which supports the organization. Outdoors are some interesting interactive activities posted on signs and a lovely picnic area.

Almost every shop in Sequim closes at 5 p.m. So, what to do on a long summer evening? Hear for the Dungeness River. If you get there before 5, you can spend a little time in the Audubon Center, talking with the helpful docents and seeing displays (taxidermy) of birds and wildlife. After that, take a walk over a smooth... More

So glad that we found this. We went early one morning and took a hike and walked over the bridge. There river was running under it and it has a few rapids running. The birds were singing and it was a beautiful morning.
