I almost do not want to write about this beautiful gem to keep it to myself...WA state is one of the most beautiful places I've ever lived. The only complaint I have about Scenic Beach is that the beach area is super small and we would have stayed longer if the tide had not come in. Stunning scenery!

A day pass is $10 and a season pass is $30. The park is pretty small. The trails aren't very long so of you're looking for an easy walk, this place is for you. The view from the beach is beautiful. Camping is available and the families there looked like they had plenty of space and privacy.

I'm amazed that more people don't camp at Scenic Beach State Park. It has so much going for it: large, roomy sites that are groomed between customers; LOTS of underbrush between sites that lend much privacy; many pull throughs that one can really pull through; clean bathrooms with flush toilets and hot water showers (tokens can be purchased at the... This park has it all. You can camp, picnic, run your dog on the beach, etc. It is easily accessible and far enough out to be a nice park experience.

This is a pretty good size State Park, Nice access to the beach and plenty of picnic sites all around. Large camping area, very nicely spaced in between sites. We drove thru to check it out. Beautiful views of Hood Canal, and loved all the blooming Rhododendrons. The historical Joe Emel house and grounds surrounding it, Is beautiful and the... More

Took many pictures in the park. I enjoyed the beach. I'd love to come back with a folding seat and just relaxing ang enjoying the nature.

We had an amazing three night camping trip at scenic beach state park. This campsite was quiet, clean, and gorgeous. Sites are spacious (we made sure to book large sites). Bathrooms were clean. The playground was great for little ones. The walk down to the beach was short and well worth it. There is a large grassy field near the... More

I have never seen a campsite this clean. First off they are huge. the one we were in could probably hold two 50' motor homes. They are all fine gravel that I swear to god is raked all in one direction - like a zen garden. I honestly felt bad leaving foot prints on it. I could not see any... More

We had 3 tents and 8 people for some major camping fun. Park people really nice too. Facilities in great shape and a playground that is a lot of fun. In the mornings, we would go collect glacial rubble (smooth, round rocks) to bring back to Texas for polishing. Took a zillion photos for visual memory but best of all... More
