Stopped in for a quick visit while waiting to meet up with family. Very impressed with this small historical society musuem. Friendly staff, lots of early 1900's period pieces. Well preserved. Good info about local mining history. Well kept and organized with the amount of museum pieces on display. Definitely a stop when visiting the town of roslyn. Next to... More

Small museum but cute and has what it needs to tell you the history of Roslyn, Washington. It was free but you can donate to keep it open. It's next to the Roslyn Cafe.

I didn't know Roslyn was a coal mining town. The museum chronicles the history of the area and the mining. Small museum but very nicely done.

We wanted to visit and were so glad it was open after we went to the Cemeteries it added to the history of the area for us. Love your little town and what they have to offer!

The museum was very quaint and had a lot of items from the town's coal mining days. Museum worker was very knowledgeable and patient with our 3 year old hopping about in her small space.

Went in after going to the Rosyln Cafe, had a bunch of mining tools and household items from the Rosyln area. Won't take you too long since it just one large room.

We took a group of 11 to this tiny museum and the docent was able to keep all ages engaged. We loved learning about the history of mining in the area and following the tour we visited the local cemetery. It is a superb stop and doesn't take too long to visit.

Our little family likes picking a daytrip location and enjoying what the area has to offer. This is what led us to Roslyn WA. This small, charming museum sits in the town. The entrance fee is $2 per person and children under 5 have no fee. The man in the museum was really helpful and showed us all sorts of... More
