My first whale watching tour and we found a great deal on Groupon! This was a full day adventure! Few hours whale watching on the way to Friday Harbor, and another couple hours on the way back. Saw lots of humpback whales, seals, and bald eagles. We didn't get to see any Orcas. The tour does a great job hunting... More

While the whales were too shy to come out, we did enjoy our time aboard the Puget Sound Express. The staff was incredibly friendly and the sights were just a nice. Wish we could have made it out another time, but our trip didn't allow for it. Would definitely do it again!

Went out for a rainy Saturday. It's Washington. Got some neat sites on the way to see the whale like seals, birds and orientation. Probably a 2+ hour ride to the Everett are. Not much time spent outside, too rainy breezy. Naturalist knew his stuff. Captain maintained the ship well. Finally after 3 hours and a little help from another... More

I had a few hours to kill while staying in Seattle, so I headed up to Edmonds for the 2-hour whale-watching tour with Puget Sound Express. I'm SO glad I did! The crew was knowledgable, friendly, and clearly passionate about their work and the area in which they live. There was so much more to see than just whales -... More

My brother, and some friends enjoyed the day watching whales in the Puget Sound. They also had a wonderful and warm blueberry buckle to eat while on the ride to the area of whales. Loved it so much and would not hesitate to do it again. The knowledge of the naturalists and the crew was just so inviting and informative.... More

It's not everyday that a group of tourists invite their Charter Bus Operator out on an excursion. The client? A business called, 'Grand Classroom'. As we rolled up to the dock the professional guide said, "you're coming with us, right?" Wow, what a great day... The Captain and Staff were wonderful, they served tasty a Pastry, Hot Chocolate or Coffee.... More

We took a full day whale watching trip through Puget Sound Express in mid-June. Recommend arriving early - you park a couple of blocks away, so make sure you have everything with you. There is not a lot of room on the boat, so we ended up going back with a bag or two - I am always guilty of... More

We took the 3 hour tour and the captain talked to other boats to see where sightings may have been. Once he took us to the locations, we seen orcas and humpbacks when we traveled on September 2nd first trip out. The boat captain was very knowledgeable and was eager to give the customers that day the trip of a... More

I enjoyed the cruise to Protection Island - it was a unique opportunity to get up close to this refuge island- the highlight was spotting an elephant seal - he wasn't doing much of anything, but seeing this huge mammal was exciting. The bald eagles put on a good show - hovering, diving and hunting for fish?, ducks? - we... More
