The park has a beautiful view of the mountains surrounding the Puget Sound - Mt. Baker, Three Fingers... I don't remember them all but there was a sign pointing them out. The beach looks lovely and I plan to walk that tomorrow in the morning....More

Fort Worden is a great place to spend an hour or a day when you have the pleasure of visiting PT. Lots to see.

There are lots of choices of experiences - something for everyone, the history of the Fort is important and tours can be scheduled on Tuesdays. There is a good nature museum, a great breakfast venue, a bar and a beautiful beach with camping.

Love this park! Defiantly every camper had a dog or two.. But we still managed to get a piece of beach both weekend days by ourselves. Which means fetch in and out of the water ,as we have very energetic goldens! No playground, less children...More

You need a discovery pass here. Can hike right to port Wilson lighthouse. Also right to the beach. Marine science center is good too right there.

We were here for just a few hours but there is so much to do here. The beach, the ruins, marine center, trails, etc. There is camping and you can even rent one of the officer houses for vacation.

This is one stop that we always make when we come home to visit. It never gets old no matter how many times we go. You hit up the beach hike the trails and you look at the old military stuff.

Like so many places along the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Fort Worden, was a gun emplacement designed to protect the Pacific Northwest from enemy attack. What remains is a slice of history complete with a museum (don't miss this before you visit the gun...More

Interesting look into the past. Lots of things to see a lighthouse, views of commercial and military ships cruising by, Coast Guard Museum and typical beach areas. Good for afternoon out.

Sorry - I don't know their policy about cancellations because I live nearby. Contact them right away though, so someone else can take the spot. They are in high demand I hear.
