We are particularly grateful to stay near the ocean's edge. There are few amenities other than the ocean which is at your doorstep. The RV utilities are limited to electric hookups, no water or sanitation. The RV spaces are close. Wind is great for kit flying and wind driven items. Great small town Labor Day celebration and the next weekend... More

Best State Park for next to Ocean Beach and beach access. Town of Pacific Beach with stores, gas, propane, and coffee shop within just a few blocks walking distance from park.

We did some clamming on this beach - had some luck! Beautiful, expansive beach with driftwood and some shells.

This place is one of the BEST places for camping on the Washington coast, but is quickly filled up because it's so popular. Reservations a must!

I really love any beach. This one is laid out well for exploring. The kids and dogs really had a blast. I am pretty positive that you can drive on it but didn't see any vehicles when we were there. If you're not from the northwest here is your tip - don't expect to swim, skimboard or surf without a... More

We have had nice walks with beautiful scenery, as well as great razor claming at this beach. Long sandy beach with great views.

This was an awesome park, even though the temperatures were at freezing the whole time. We walked in since we were staying half a block away.

It was cozy and warm inside, especially the first two nights which were windy and rainy. Only thing is our heater died the third night, but park staff was nice enough to lend us a free-standing heater. Beds are not the most comfortable, so I recommend bringing an egg-crate mattress and of course your own sheets and sleeping bags. The... More

Sites are intended for large RV's. No privacy as they are all lined up together. But there are few other camping options and the beach is right at hand. Showers too.

We visited this park as a scouting trip for future camping trips. The camp spots are mostly for trailers. Some have water and electric; I don't believe any have sewer hook-ups. Bathrooms were nice and clean. This park is located right on the beach, with only a few hundred feet to walk, and uninterrupted views of the coast. A small... More
