Pretty location in the fall with the changing leaf colours and the blue water of the lake. We stayed here in late September on a weekend, and it was not very busy. I would avoid this location in the summer because I would feel way more crammed in if it were busy. Not much privacy between sites because its pretty... More

Great park. Nicely layed out. Flat. Not many here in the off season. The lake is warm and the beach is great. Staff is helpful and nice. We are here for a couple days and did not make reservations prior. Dump station is free with camping. Only one spot has a sewer hookup.

It's actually now Oroville Veterans Memorial park We were pleasantly surprised when we stayed here for three nights. They have green grass everywhere, pretty spacious sites and a great beach with water that is nice and clean and gets deeper quite gradually. They have a concession stand that was open while we were here. Washrooms were clean. Cold water only.... More

Beautiful park water is warn great to swim. You can camp and they have hook up for Rv and trailers. You can make a easy trip into Canada from this location to the town of Osoyoos. They have para sail trips on the lake from the city park oa banan boat rides great fun.

Camping at Oroville is part of our summer tradition and we have been doing it now for the past 6 years. We love it for several reasons. It has a nice sandy beach with shade options if you want to stay closer to the trees. The water in the lake is warm and clean. There is plenty of long flat... More

This is a nice gem in Oroville. The park is nicely laid out. The rest rooms are clean. Campsites are plentiful and in good shape. The park is kept up and maintained well. It is close to a grocery store and some restaurants. Just be wary that the wind can blow down the lake with ferocity. It blew so hard... More

I love this state park because the lake is pretty shallow there, so you don't have to worry about kids getting into deep water. You can walk out into the lake more than 100 feet and still touch!

A beautiful little park with a great swimming area. The water is very warm and we have never experienced any 'swimmer's itch', prevalent in some of the shallow lakes in the area. A quick walk to the market and you can have a really nice picnic.

The park and swimming area are very well maintained. As an R VERY though, the spaces are very close together and you need to be self contained. -- great for weekend but not long term.

This is a favorite destination as it is close to home for us and so relaxing. Well supervised so as not too have rowdies. Family oriented with sites overlooking Osoyoos Lake and the adjoining river. Not much to do otherwise as it is a border town. However, but a short distance to Tonasket and Omak if you fancy a drive.... More
