My son in law and grand daughter recommended this place after their visit. If you are a birder, you might appreciate their bird list. If you like beachcombing, there are several things to see (shells, and man-made stuff that came in with the tide.)

The place provides nice historical information of the ocean shores city, with interactive and large size maps. Lots of collection of animals, fishes and birds skin/bones. Must visit place.

The center exceeded our expectations! Lots of great info about wild life, land, history of the region. Worth a 30 minute stop to learn more. Great for kids and history buffs, but anyone would enjoy a stop here.

The Interpretive Center was so much more than expected. We were greeted as we entered, and let know that beyond the exhibits we could see, there were also many items in the drawers under the displays - and they were all available to touch! What...More

Honestly, this place was the highlight of my Ocean Shores trip. I spent over an hour looking at all their exhibits and the docents were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. A first class local museum / science center.
