Walk out on this spit with friends, dogs or just by yourself. The ocean on one side, the bay on the other. There is a bird sanctuary about half way out, please do not allow your dog to run loose there, please do not bother...More

Damon Point is a sand spit on Grays Harbor. It is a terrific place to look for agates. The best feature for me is that the waves are much more gentle than on the ocean proper and I feel that my grandkids are much safer....More

Went there to collect stones and to just walk the beach. It's so beautiful and peaceful. Little out of the way but worth the trip. Recommended to all.

This is a gem. Some call it shelll beach due to the abundance of pebbles and shells. Stand on the beach on a sunny day and look at Mt Ranier covered in snow. Amazing

My husband found a review online that claimed that this was the best beach in Wa. for collecting agates. While we found very few agates, this is a beautiful beach on a long sand spit.

Even if not into bird watching, this is awesome place to hike to. 3 mile round trip. The Snowy Owl visits here from the Arctic. Agents can be found on western side of peninsula. Advise checking internet to see if Owls are here.

We didn't walk all the way out to the point, but wind and sun and water did not disappoint. Lots of birds, sea shells in the sand. Great time to have spent here ...

A surfer I met at a local restaurant recommended Damon Point as a great place for long beach walks and he was right! A beautiful (long) walk out to the Point, great for beachcoming and watching surfers!

You should contact the Interpretive center. They will know if owls are there. The Snowy Owls are worth the trip, but not always visiting us.
