The jetty has large rocks that can be slippery and difficult to climb on. The beach is nice to walk on but has plenty of debris such as tree trunks and seaweed. There is a small parking area. And about a mile down the road is the Coastal Interpretive Center which is also worth a visit.

The North Jetty is an attraction for those attracted to all things ocean. A short walk from your car takes you to the rocks of the jetty. Bring a camera. Depending on the time of year, weather and sea conditions you may encounter a view of Westport across the bay, everything from small fishing vessels to huge vehicle carriers making... More

My wife and I were there in the off season but the sunset was spectacular with the storm surf breaking.

Beautiful sunny sunset. Warch out for broken glass bottles on beach. Miles of walking. Lots of sand dunes.

Good stormy day to walk out on the Jetty. Dress warm and wear rain gear if you don't want to get wet. Not a trip for small children without supervision. Well worth the time out.

It's always different and a good opportunity to see different wildlife. How can you go wrong with a walk in the beach?

Typical jetty with lots of rocks and lots of water. Waves crashing on a windy day. Ya sorta gotta go....I mean you're not really visiting Ocean Shores unless you go see the jetty and Gray's Harbor inlet. But it won't blow your mind....just a nice place to visit.

This is an awesome area to see the ocean as it enters the bay. It is especially spectacular during a storm: BUT DANGEROUS!! Enjoy from a distance during a storm.

We always try to make time for a trip to the jetty. There is just something exciting about it. You should know there is only a porta-potty available. If you walk just a little down the beach you will also experience the power of erosion
