A neat park but has some hiccups that need addressed.

First we'll start with the good. I love that this park is on the beach. It's always such a beautiful setting. Between all the flowers, the windmill and everything else but this... read more

I have spent a lot of time in this park throughout my life and it is a pretty awesome one. They have a lot of festivals and activities that regularly happen here. And it is also a great place to walk your dog, view the ocean, or just sit and have a picnic. It can get windy, but it is... More

First we'll start with the good. I love that this park is on the beach. It's always such a beautiful setting. Between all the flowers, the windmill and everything else but this park has to offer many playgrounds and sites to see you can spend many hours here and find something to do. During the summer they even have a... More

We visited the park to take in the view. Very popular place with locals. Picnic tables, barbecue grills, restrooms, and shelters dot the park. They were building a new water treatment plant adjacent to the park so parking was a little tight.

We parked at this park, no charge. From there we road our bike on the shoreline path towards Penn Cove and then back to the Marina. Very nice little park in Oak Harbor to sit and watch the tide go in and then out.

We stopped here one morning we were in Oak Harbor wandering around. We had a very nice quiet walk along the beach. There were lots of nice rocks and stones on the beach and no waves to speak of. Very tranquil.

There is a Lagoon where kids swim,it is dirty, sure would be nice if the city could clean that up,the only other place where kids can swim is the pool in Oak Harbor, the water there is way to cold and it is way overcrowded. The playground is nice, but with all the construction going on down there no thanks. The kids do... More

This spot conveniently has both. I came at the peak of low tide. What a thrill seeing the little creatures running around in the tidal pools. Then to the park section that is beautifully landscaped and has the softest grass. What a great place for families to picnic or splash in the tidal pool. A++

This is a beautiful park complete with a beach front, lagoon for swimming, playgrounds, and a windmill. You can walk from the park to downtown Oak Harbor.
