If you long for flowing rivers, huge rock formations and trees, this is the place. The swinging bridge and bowl and pitcher are a must see.

This park is huge with a river running through it, roads and trails around it and so close to town. The Centennial Trail was expanded to Nine Mile where you end at the river. Wide, well-maintained path, beware of cross roads.

Although I grew up north of Spokane, I've never been to Riverside State Park. I took my kids there last week and had great time. Walked over the swinging bridge, hiked the trails, watched a river otter eat a fish. Awesome time.

I always enjoy visiting Riverside State Park for a quick hike since it's so easy to get to. The Bowl and Pitcher and bridge are cool to see and the trails are well-traveled.
