Cedar Creek Trail. This is a long trail so we decided to go out for 90 minutes and then return. About 2 miles into the trail we came upon “Cedar Falls” which was nice but paled with respect to the Rainbow Falls in Stehekin Washington.

When the higher country is snowed in or weathered out, this can be a good option. It offers a good selection of eastside vegetation.

A short but athletic hike to a small but beautiful waterfall. There are several spots to sit down and enjoy a picnic lunch before heading back down or heading further up the trail towards Mt. Gardner and Abernathy Pass.

This is a fairly easy hike whose prize is the attractive falls about an hour into the hike. Good hike for people who are not used to hiking. Take a short movie of the falls,

Trail was large and well maintained lots of squirrels and chip monks. Scenery was stunning and it wasn't too strenuous.

Great hike year round just 20 minutes from Winthrop, WA. In winter you have to hike the road as well which makes it a little longer. A nice cool stream bed to follow in the summer.

Falls are cool but make sure that you hike up into and past the aspen groves . We saw a bear up there last year.

This is a good early season trail. Right on the highway. cedar creek falls are a short distance in. You can go on and on in later season through the pass eventually to North Lake in the Twisp river drainage. Probably a lonely trail going...More
