Located in the Walla Walla Valley appellation of Washington State, Woodward...

Located in the Walla Walla Valley appellation of Washington State, Woodward Canyon Winery was started in 1981 by Rick Small and his wife, Darcey Fugman-Small. They have since been joined by the second generation. Since the beginning, the winery has consistently produced premium,age-worthy, award-winning cabernet sauvignons and merlots as well as chardonnays. Woodward Canyon's second label, Nelms Road, is also available at the winery. Woodward Canyon offers both Classic and Reserve tasting experiences in our 1870's farmhouse. You can also enjoy a picnic on our patio or in the garden.

Nice Spot for a Tasting

Great little renovated old farmhouse that functions as a tasting room. You can about throw a rock from L'Ecole Winery to Woodward, so you might as well stop at both. Woodward... read more

This winery is located next to L'Ecole Winery. The tasting room is small and cute, with a huge outdoor area for relaxing and wine tasting. The two women working that day, one was very new to the business, while the other is obviously a long term staff. We walked to the Reserve House (appears to be an event center). People... More

Absolutely fabulous wines presented to us when visiting this classic Walla Walla winery this past weekend. The wines were just a tad pricey but I believe they were worth it. Well worth a visit if you have some time in Walla Walla.

I highly suggest trying both of the wine tasting options. The Charbonneau, although a little pricey, is some of the best wine we have ever tried, balanced all the way through. I would suggest for the owners more tables or seating for the guests. There was a large party that came in behind us that kind of took over while... More

Thank you! We just happen to be in the process of shopping for some additional seating in the tasting room, so we are on the same wavelength too. More

What a delightful spot. The hostess made us feel right at home. It was very busy and she just calmly moved about the tasting room serving folks like it was her home. Wines were delicious too. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard with our picnic.

We hadn't originally intended on stopping here for wine tasting but since we were headed to L'Ecole No 41 next door, stopped by to check out this quaint house. Glad we came! Every glass we tasted was better than the one prior and we enjoyed the service immensely. The gentleman that helped us was friendly and it was only his... More

As a first stop, this winery offered a nice start to our wine tasting weekend. Right next to L'Ecole No. 41, it features a nice patio, awesome tasting room and the opportunity to eat woodfired pizza on Fridays for lunch. Make sure you bring o'deurves and snacks for the kids though. Nearby there are two PokéStops and a gym providing... More

Stopped by here on a recent trip to Walla Walla and had a great experience. Friendly staff and amazing wines. We opted for the reserve tasting flight at $15 each. I'm not normally a fan of tasting fees, but this was entirely worth it. The tasting fee is not refundable on the reserve flight, but we bought a bottle of... More

I enjoyed the back patio for my wine tasting. I had my dog with me. The server brought each tasting out to me. She was very knowledgable about each wine and friendly. Much appreciated! You can hear the freeway from the winery, but after a few tastes it blurred away.

A short visit was all that was needed to experience the power of their wines. Worth the short drive from Walla Walla.
