We like museums and cranberries so we were anxious to visit this small museum. It was,so interesting. Who knew cranberries were so important during WWII? The cranberry crops were doing poorly so in the 20's, a WSU student, Crowley, came to help. He studied the...More

One of those places that we all drive by and say one day I'm going to stop. And we don't! It's a working cranberry research facility with lots of pictures of how they are propagated, harvested. Labor intensive even today. Museum is staffed by a...More

We happened upon this little farm and decided to go inside. We learned so much about the harvesting and processing of cranberries and it was free! We were also offered a free cup of cranberry ice cream. Yum!

It's actually quite interesting how cranberries are grown and harvested, and the museum is located next to working bogs. The gift shop has a nice assortment of things. Allow 20 minutes for the museum. The docent/gift shop cashier was very knowledgeable.

They represent the Cranberry growers of Long Beach Washington nicely. Easy to understand and touch educational machinery. Fun and delicious products to purchase. Great place to learn about the growers in the community a get some cranberries to.

I was hoping for better, but mostly there is a big field of cranberries outside, some historical notes inside, and cranberry goodies to buy inside. I know that cranberries are not a "wow" experience, but it'd be better to just call it a cranberry miscellaneous...More

This is a semi-interesting little gift shop with a few rooms of information on cranberries, cranberry farming, cranberry history, etc. They also have a small walking path through some cranberry fields.

We enjoyed a short stop here where we learned a lot about the cranberry industry. We liked how they showed all the different attempts at being innovative, even if the invention didn't work. It's the kind of place where you read the plaques. Seeing the...More
