I wasn't expecting much fun as we visited the Cranberry Museum but was pleasantly surprised. The museum was small but was crammed full of cool displays and historical memorabilia. The gift shop while pricey was full of specialty cranberry items that were unique and probably not available at too many places. The outdoors walk showed the cranberry fields which we... More

This is a great little museum dedicated to the craft of growing and harvesting cranberries. We enjoyed it, and picked up some unique gifts for the kids. Great place to spend a rainy coastal afternoon.

If you are in the long beach area and are looking for something to do, you can spend at least 30min to an hour here and it will be enjoyable. The museum is actually rather small, but how much can you really say about cranberry's after all. You can get to see the vines in the bogs and if you're... More

This is a self-guided tour of the small museum and cranberry bogs. Learned a lot. Did you know cranberries grow on vines, not bushes? It's free and just a few miles outside Long Beach. Pleasant outing. Nice little gift shop. Their cranberry chutney is great.

Went to this free museum and was impressed with thoroughness of the subject matter and then you can walk right into a bog and actually realize that the plants aren't very large but produce a huge numbers of cranberries. Very interesting and was very busy on a Monday with many buying cranberry gifts for Christmas!

never been to the cranberry bogs before we visited the museum and then the bogs. We all enjoyed learning about how they grow and process them. We walked around several bogs and we're amazed at the different colors of the cranberries. They were much darker and more the color of purple grapes. Gift shop was small but we managed to... More

The Cranberry Museum can be an entertaining diversion, especially if you have an interest in cranberries. The self guided walk by the bog is OK for a short walk. It's free.
