Long beach is a charming little town. There's a variety of things to do and see and it's very family-friendly. Hightlights include the Sandsations Sand Castle Competition, the family fun center, Marsh's Museum, the Kite museum, The Roo Restaurant/Pub, and a variety of small shops and cafés on the main street of town. It's the perfect 2 or 3 day... More

We bundled up for the rain and did everything we wanted to do! It was dry enough to do the go-karts, but a little chilly. We had the track to ourselves! We took a stormy Saturday morning hike to Cape Disappointment Interpretive Center and the Lighthouse, which really highlighted both! Oysterville Church was uniquely historical and beautiful. We enjoyed the... More

There isnt much to say about Long Beach other than its name is very apt. Its amazing even in winter with great tails, a lovely boardwalk and miles and miles of sand and surf.

True to its name the peninsula has the longest beach - in the US, and maybe in the world? Beautiful unbroken sandy beach with the best/freshest oysters in Oysterville in the north, and Il Waco fishing port and historial lighthouse at the south end of the Peninsula.

We loved that we could drive on the beach here. It is beautiful and dramatic which is just what we wanted in the month of January. The town had stores and restaurants and plenty to do with the proximity to Cape Disappointment Park. Highly recommend this area!
