A great place to escape and relax! Quite a few campgrounds along the drive. The norm is sharing the place with MANY rock climbers! Bring your camera!

This is a good loop trail on both sides of the Icicle River. It is 3-4 miles in length and has only gentle elevation changes. Well maintained trail, accessible when snows have melted, and the Icicle Road in open. Beautiful views of the roved, and...More

Great short drive from town. Definitely worth getting out of the car and hiking around a bit. I flew my drone around and got some great shots!

4.5 miles or so, Cool shade, walking through the forest, beautiful views of mountains, awesome roaring river, wild flowers strewn around meadows, kayakers to watch, bridges to cross and mostly LEVEL!! It doesn't get any better for a great walk! Look for Icicle Gorge Trail!

If you are a white water boater take all your precautions, but it must be good for all these people to be putting at their favorite spots. views, hikes, camping requires reservation in public or private areas.

The water was fast and high. Worth stopping. Nice place for a couple of pictures. Spring melt off. The pull offs were convenient but required a little caution on reentry.

It's not a hiking trail. It is a road that you can drive in your car.
