This is a lovely small park with green grass, lots of flowers and a gazebo/bandstand for concerts and events. It lends itself to art festivals and other events or just a nice place to sit and relax between visiting shops and restaurants.
Placed in the heart of Leavenworth this park sets the tone for this Bavarian village. Grass during the spring and summer months and then a small hill for children to sled down on the snow during winter. Great family place.
Live Alpen folk music (accordion and yodeling--how perfect is that?) in the gazebo with bleachers provided, Art in the Park adjacent to that, shade trees, well-maintained restrooms, a photo and text historical exhibit. That's a lot to pack in a not-so-huge park, but the City...More

I walked through as an art show was being hosted and enjoyed the art but I also enjoyed the simple beauty of the park. This is a very scenic part of Leavenworth and a nice spot to relax between browsing the shops.
