This small museum, located in an old mansion situated in a lovely park along the Wenatchee River, is worth a visit. It provides a sense of the area's natural and human history.

Small but interesting. Great before and after photos of Leavenworth. The little old lady at the front desk, was so sweet and engaging-I loved her!

An absolute must to visit for those interested in the history of Leavenworth. We left having a greater appreciation of the town and its community and the ingenuity and perseverance of man. Wonderful exhibit of pictures and text line the walls.

Provides a great historical view of how Leavenworth came to be. You are treated to a re-enactment from Charles Leavenworth himself.

We were a little surprised at how small the museum really is. It is a beautiful house, with an extraordinary view of the river. Apparently is used to be a bed and breakfast until 6 years ago. That would have been a lovely place to...More
