I love taking my preschool class here because everyone pays their own way. I'd love to have a birthday party here but it's so expensive for such a small zoo.

This zoo is expensive, and unlike the public zoo, so be prepared for that. The animals are endangered and the tigers are very rare and very expensive to maintain. They are fed the best food and have a lovely habitat. The whole zoo is very different, quite small actually, and pricey. That said, it is peaceful and has a beatiful... More

Loved this place even with the very cold temperature there were animals outside and friendly people! be sure to check the days and hours they are open. Where else can you see a White tiger and emus? Reindeer and Alpacas? Parrots and Cranes? The Cougars are beautiful. Well worth it to go...just a few minutes outside of Seattle and very... More

I love treating my grandchildren to Cougar Mountain Zoo. It's perfect with children because it's small, walkable, interesting, educational, and you don't have to commit to an entire day for them to experience wildlife. The employees are available to answer questions and direct attention to special events taking place on the grounds.

This zoo is perfect for little kids, but it's fun for older ones too. It's one of your favorite places to visit in Issaquah. My daughter loves the macaw and the sculptures are great!

This is one of our favorite places to visit when we come to the area to see our grandchildren. The zoo is small enough for the young ones to navigate and offers interesting exhibits. You can see just about everything in a 2 hour visit.

A small zoo, very enjoyable and low key. So much easier to actually see animals up close than big zoos.

This zoo is different from any other that I've been to. It is small and there is a good feeling about it. The staff is so informed and are stationed around the zoo to educate guests about the animals. I wouldn't plan to spend more than an hour or so there, but it is enjoyable. I particularly loved the birds... More

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this zoo! It's small and intimate and easy to navigate and has animals that aren't necessarily exotic but that you don't typically see at other zoos like the reindeer, wallabies, and macaws. And the perk that you get to feed some of them also adds to the fun. When you go, don't miss the little shows... More
