I went into this thinking it was going to be somewhat like parasailing. Not so much. It was much more exciting. The team members are friendly. Orientation was good and you get to watch videos of clients barfing.

I think you should plan on half a day. When you arrive, they put you through training and a welcome video. Then you take a shuttle to the top of the launch point. You may need to wait until the winds are favorable before you fly and then you have the flight itself of course.
On pretty days, it gets quite crowded and the tandem instructor’s are all booked so yes I think you probably need reservations if you’re going during any of the popular times of year.
